Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MARKX Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through LoopEd AI. We are incorporated in the United Arab Emirates. LoopEd AI is a suite of AI-powered marketing simulators operated by MARKX Limited.

2. Data we collect

When you create an account we collect:

• Name: first name and, optionally, last name;
• Email address: used to identify your account and for essential communications;
• Password: stored in encrypted form by our authentication provider (Clerk); we never see your plaintext password;
• Usage data: campaign configurations, simulation results, and other content you create within LoopEd AI, stored to provide the service.

We do not collect payment card details directly. Any billing is handled by our payment processor (Stripe) under their own privacy policy.

Advertising account data, only if you choose to run a VERA audit. VERA is an optional feature. If you connect a real Google Ads or Meta advertising account and run an audit, we receive a read-only copy of data from that account so we can generate your report. Depending on the platform and campaign type this can include:

• Campaign, ad group or ad set, and ad records, including settings, budgets, bids, and status;
• Keywords, negative keywords, and search terms, which are the queries people typed into a search engine that matched your ads;
• Performance and conversion metrics, assets, and audience, geographic, and other segment breakdowns;
• Change history, where you upload it.

Search-term data is generated by other people using a search engine and may incidentally contain personal information within a query. We do not use it to identify anyone, we only process it to produce your audit, and we never use it for advertising or profiling. VERA is strictly read-only: we never create, edit, pause, or spend anything on your live account.

This account data is stored against your LoopEd AI account so your audit can be generated and re-opened. You can remove it at any time by deleting the audit, or by deleting your account.

3. How we use your data

• To create and manage your account;
• To provide, maintain, and improve the LoopEd AI platform;
• To answer you through ARIA, our AI coach: when you ask ARIA a question, your message, your campaign data, and, where your question relates to one, your VERA audit data are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a reply;
• To generate a VERA audit report from an advertising account you choose to connect;
• To send you essential service communications (e.g. email verification, account notices);
• To process subscription payments where applicable;
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service;
• To operate and improve the platform itself, which does not include using your advertising account data to set our benchmarks or scoring, as described below;
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

We do not use your account data to set our benchmarks

LoopEd AI teaches using benchmark ranges, for example a typical click-through rate or cost per click in a given industry. Those ranges do not come from customer accounts. They are built from published industry sources and our own modeling, and where a figure is derived rather than published we label it as such.

Concretely, we commit that:

• Data from your advertising account is used to produce your audit report, and nothing else;
• We do not use it, in any form, to calibrate our benchmark ranges or our scoring engines;
• We do not pool it with other customers' account data, including in aggregated or anonymized form;
• We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

We took this position deliberately. An account that is being audited is, by definition, not yet an optimized account, so averaging audited accounts together would move the numbers we teach toward the very mistakes our learners are here to avoid. Published sources with honest labeling are the better answer, and they do not require touching your data at all.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contract: processing your name and email is necessary to provide the LoopEd AI service you signed up for;
• Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, and improve the platform. As set out in section 3, this does not extend to using your advertising account data to calibrate our benchmarks or scoring;
• Legal obligation: where we are required to retain or disclose data by law.

5. Data storage & security

Your data, including any advertising account data collected by a VERA audit, is stored by Supabase (database, hosted in the Sydney, Australia region) and Clerk (authentication). We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure, and your records are scoped to your own account.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it longer by law (e.g. billing records).

Because we do not pool your advertising account data into benchmarks or any other shared dataset (section 3), there is no derived copy of it to retain. Deleting an audit, or your account, removes it.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Deletion: request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten");
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
• Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests.

9. Cookies & analytics

LoopEd AI uses essential session cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We also use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to understand how the product is used and improve it. Under Google Consent Mode, analytics and its cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are denied by default and load only after you accept our cookie banner; you can withdraw or change your choice at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer. We do not run session recordings, and we do not sell your data. Google processes this data as described in its own privacy policy, and IP addresses are anonymized.

We also offer a live-chat support widget (Crisp). It loads under the same consent choice as analytics — it stays off until you accept our cookie banner — and when you open the chat it sets its own cookies and processes the messages you send in order to run the conversation. You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

10. Children

LoopEd AI is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to our Terms of Service on your behalf. If you believe someone under 16 has registered, please contact us and we will delete the account promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within LoopEd AI. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
